I have a Nikon coolpix 5700 and recently I bought a Phoenix D91-BZS. I tried to shot with the D91-BZS but my trials failed.

Does somebody out there know how to set up Phoenix D91-BZS with coolpix 5700?

What was exactly the problem?

Internal flash fired but not external flash even though I set options on Coolpix 5700 to fire external flash.

I set option to fire external only. I also set option to fire both. but nothing was working.

I also followed D91-BZS instruction. but it seemed not working.

Thanks,

This is not applicable in your case , this means setting the camera to fire external flash via it's hot shoe

The D91-BZS is an optical slave flash. You must have the camera build-in flash fire , in order to trigger the slave flash (normal flash setting on the camera: internal / build in flash).
If you see the camera build-in flash fired, and the D91-BZS not reacting, it must be defective simply. Return it.
