I would like to know if the Sigma EF-500 DG Super can be used to wirelessly trigger another Sigma EF-500 DG Super flash. Or do I need the Canon ST-E2 to trigger the other flash? I guess I am asking if the one Sigma flash can be used in place of the ST-E2 to trigger the 2nd flash... hope I am making sense here.

Jeffumber of attempts: 2

Leave Message: Yes, I left a message for the customer to test/trouble shoot the feature and to call us back if needed.

Reason for customer contact: To verify that the feature is working.

Additional Contact numbers verified: Yes, no additional contact numbers listed in the ticket. The ICOMS CM field lists contact TN 8185059005. I called that TN and got RNA (let line ring 8 times).

Yes it can!

... You can get the EF-500 DG Super for the same price as ST-E2 (or a 420EX) alone, but the Sigma will give you both a high-end flash and the functionality of an ST-E2 to boot! Beside this flash will also allow you to control flash exposure compensation which the ST-E2 can not.
