Hello all,

I'm going to be buying Sony HVL-F32X Flash to go with my new F828 Digi cam. On the description on most websites it says the flash uses "4 AA alkiline batteries"

My question is can i use NiMH batteries in it? Ive read that this flash drinks juice like a little baby, so i was going to purchase a load of the MAHA POWEREX 2300 mAH NiMH Rechargeable Batteries. So can i use them with it?

Thanks

I have the same flash and do use NIMH batteries with it. It does go through batteries fairly quick, so for a full days worth of shooting I would get at least 2 sets, and probably a 3rd as a backup. Play with the flash, use it and you'll be a happy with the results. The bounce capability is a great feature that works well with portraits.
