I know the voltage will not fry the FZ30, but I also know that the Nikon mount is special. I am curious to find out if I could get it to work and how?

Thanks

That should work for your FZ30. You just can not use all the advance features offered by the Nikon SB600. e.g. Like rear curtain flash

I am using a Nikon SB24 on my FZ10.

Good luck!

Polar and JKA-

The Nikon SB-600 is a pretty sophicated flash on a FZ-30 it just becomes a manual external flash, all the great feature are wiped out. Please do some research it might save you some money.

Yeah I was just looking at it, and I figured I would not be able to get all the features, I think for a bit more I can get a flash like the Metz-44 or something where I can use all the features.
