Hello,
I am currently looking to purchase an xD-Picture card for my FujiFilm F700. I was wondering if any users here own the F700, and if they have had any luck using cards larger than 512MB. The Fuji Usa site says that the camera is NOT compatible with the Type M or Type H xD cards, which would leave me with a 512MB max. The Fuji Canada Site says that the camera IS compatible with type M and H cards after a firmware update. I'm pretty sure I have the latest firmware, because this camera is a refurb, and has camera software version 3.00, which I think is the latest. I sent emails to both Fuji US, and canada, and in the emails, they just restate the info on their sites, so canada says yeah with firmware, and US says no. What I'm hoping is that there are users here that have used a 1BG card, and had it successfully work. If so, what type of card (H or M), and what camera software is on your camera (found in the exif data in your pics). Any help would be awesome, as I dont want to buy a card, and have it not work. Thanks in advance for any help you guys can give. |
