Default 2.2gig on fat16?

I am thinking about getting the S7000 with a 2.2gig card, but wondering if it will work with the fat16 file system of the S7000

Default 2GB limit

I use a 52X RiData 2GB CF and it works flawlessly and runs fast. Since there is no 2.2GB Flash, Im assuming you mean the micro-drive. Either way, you can ony use 2GB and have to lose the rest. Partition the drive and turn off the 200MB one.

Default 2 Gb = max

That's right, FAT16 will (can) not address more than 2 Gb. You'll need the FAT32 system for that. But 2 Gb in the S7000 isn't too bad, I assume?

2.2gig card on a S7000 is definitly a not bad Idea. I don't know if the S7000 supports fat-32 or not. I do know that the 2.2 GB on a microdrive are actually 1.8x GB once is formated, so is Fat-16 and at 12.9 MB per Raw picture we are talking about 150 photos at the highest quality the camera can give you.

You should be happy!! I know I would.

With a 2.2 Gig card you will get 2 Gig of use from the S7000. Big deal if you lose 200 Megs.
