Difference between S602Z & S602Z Pro
What's the difference?

djb Jul 15, 2003 2:13 PM

there are at least 2 major differences between the s602z and the s602z pro. 1. the pro has a shutterbutton that accepts a cable release. the s602 doesn't. 2. the pro is all black, the other isn't. and the pro is not offered or sold in the U.S.A. as per fuji. that's all i can think of.

oh, i forgot that the pro comes with a 340Mb microdrive. i think.

It doesn't come with the microdrive, or atleast it didn't!

The Pro does come with a microdrive (was 340mb) but recently they have given some 512mb ones due to reliablity isssues with the 340 ones.

The Fuji s602 SE does not come with a microdrive. But the SE is the same camera as the PRO model, but does not come with microdrive. I often see the SE represented and sold as the PRO on ebay, but it usually is not. ONe give away is the matter of where you are buying it from. If you are getting the camera from a Candadian reatiler/seller then it's probaly the SE.

OK, thanks. I also sent Fujifilm USA an email asking the same question and they just said it was a foreign product and they don't have any information on it. Your replies were certainly much more helpful. I did also find out that the PRO version isn't two-tone -- it's all black.

i had also sent fuji an email about the pro and they said the same thing but, gave me the UK email address. so i sent them mail and it ended up being the U.S. fuji and they just repeated what the first email told me. not much help!!!!

Why not get an SE and buy whatever drive you like (CFII)?
