Default f601 lcd

I purchased a fuji f601 last week and am really pleased with its performance and features. However on the lcd lower edge, there is a row of four blob dark shadows extending upwards and fading - almost like a series of rippling shadows. This is seen best when in camera mode looking at white surface, or in playback mode on blue display of empty s.m. card. Took it back to shop where they agreed fault and to exchange camera for a new one. However replacement one shown also had this feature, as did display model which was of much older stock.Has anyone else noticed this anomaly? It does not affect performance, just is a little irritating to see!
