I looked at the 303 (the only 203/303 I could find) as I was on the fence between the 203 and the 2650. I thought the 2650 too bulky. When I handled the 303 a bit more I found it to be too small, no place for my fingers to rest comfortably. I kept hitting the controls and they kept moving. In addition I viewed and printed the sample shots on this site for the 2650 and the 303 and to be honest I could not see any advantages in those taken with the 303. There are price wars right now on the 2650, well below $200 including shipping.

Good luck

I believe the only advantage of the A203 is that I think it has a f/2.8 lens instead of a f/3.5. The Canon A40 is also a good alternative in this price range. It has lots more features (low shutter speeds, several more manual options and focus assist lamp to name a few) and has received excellent ratings.
