Default fuji 3800 iso question

i have been looking at so many different cameras and really like the fuji range. the s602z is out of my price range. however, i am impressed with the 3800. the only reason i haven't bought it is because of its single ISO setting.

as far as i can tell, it is a major negative in terms of the camera. have i missed something or is it a good reason to avoid the 3800?

Depends on location and what you want to do. Where you are there's LOTS of bright sun, so for mainly outdoor shots 100ASA is fine as long as you can see the lcd/viewfinder. Auto focus works best in good light as well.

Where I am ,we want lots of ISO with low noise - viewfinders are less of a problem, but auto focus can be!
