I bought a 9600 today (as a handy back up to my D70) and am obviously having a "senior moment" as I cannot find any reference to RAW in the handbook, or anything on the camera that allows me to set it to shooting RAW.

Is it known as something else on Fuji cameras?

It didn't occur to me to ask in the shop - I didn't expect to have trouble finding it!

Many thanks.

I think the person who is having the senior moment is the one who wrote the Fuji manual. I have the 9000, and I think the menus are basically the same. You have to press the Menu button, go to Setup, go to the second page of the setup menu, and there is where you will find the raw option. A lot of us are wondering why the raw option wasn't on the "F" menu. Maybe that would have been a little too logical. Good luck with your new camera.

Could you please share your first impression about this camera and a few samples ?

Have you tried to use the max. zoom ? Does it have an image satabilizer ? Thanks.
