Hello,
one of my friends is going to spend some time in September in Florida and I asked him to buy a Fuji Finepix 2800Z for me (it seems to be a tad cheaper in the US than here in Hungary). Could you guys recommend a shop in Tampa or Miami where he could get one (preferably a cheap one)? I tried to look around on the net but could not find any. Any help is appreciated. Peter |

Check out Circuit City. They have a good return policy. Also pick-up local paper and look for specials.

Check review sights on ths merchant. Read negative reviews. Only 2 types write reviews on merchants that have real negitave reviews. The ripped off and the merchants try to bury them . If you order/pay for/ recieve on ttime, they have only done minnuim expected of a merchant ..........
Gary And what does c/net certified mean in protection?? CNET's promise If you buy from a CNET Certified Store through the CNET Shopper site and the CNET Certified Store charges your credit card for unauthorized purchases, CNET will reimburse you for any amount of such unauthorized charges for which your credit card company holds you liable up to a total of $50. You must follow your credit card company's rules and regulations in regard to reporting unauthorized charges. If you encounter any problems with a CNET Certified Store, please contact us. Digitalartis,
Looked at bizrate for your reccommended merchant. Stats listed for buydig.com Overall Rating Summary Past Week Past Month Past 3 Months Positive 89% 93% 93% Neutral 2% 1% 1% Negative 9% 6% 6% Show that 1 in 10 had a negative experince with them in the last week. NO LOCAL brick and mortor store would last with that amount of very unhappy consumers. Gary |

well... i had great LUCK then with buydig.com. got my cam on time and for the cheapest price available on the net. cam sold for $375 plus tax at Target...and seemed to average $350 everywhere else...so i am quite happy to have got it for $275+20 shipping. u run a RISK no matter what when purchasing on the net..and most of the time it's a blind purchase. i looked at the others (on dealtime.com)..and they had horrendous ratings...so i chose www.buydig.com.
u can have negative reviews purchsing from sellers that sell merchandise for almost retail too...not just the retailers that can sell them cheap. this cam is also brand new and not a refurb..which i undestand some are at that low of price. |

don't get the Finepix 2800....some model's CCD is tilted (takes picture slanted)....i got my during the summer and had my first one return for a new one;' but the second one is still a bit tilted. go for the canon's s30/40.
con: -100 iso - you want 200-400 -chance of getting a tilted CCD (very upset on this one) -Picture quality is not as good compared to Canon's and Nikon -no TIF format (uncompred file) support pro: -6x zoom (never can find one under 1000$ CND) -the Design -regular AA batteries (recommand using Ni-MH rechariable batteries) |
