2 pics from the liberation festival, celebrating the end of WWII. We celebrated 'properly' so my hand wasn't as steady as it could have been
![]() Handheld, taken in 7fps burst mode; Using the burst mode significantly increases the chance of hitting a non-shaken moment. Resized & sharpened only. #1 1/50s f/4.5 ISO1600 18.9mm ( =108mm) #2 1/25s f/5.6 ISO1600 126mm ( =720mm full tele). Framing could have been better in terms of thirds placement, but I'm happy enough getting a sharp result at all ![]() Recorded a little movie too (don't mind a roomie messing up the sound ![]() http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yZQlVlYRQnY Happy Shooting! Shooting sports is tough though. It wasn't that I had my finger pasted on to the shoot button but even the ones that I thought would come out good sometimes sucked. It's not like I'm a professional over here and all those rolls of high speed film add up in a hurry. |

Thank you Sarah; I got lucky I guess
![]() -Some HS10 photos with the Raynox DCR-250 supermacro lens. It alllows focussing on a subject at full tele from a distance of some 13 cm away ![]() Dof is very tight; a few millimeters at max. Going to be tough shooting moving subjects with that.. #1 showing the ballpoint of the ball point pen in the #2 shot #3 showing the outer edge of a non-recordable cd with it's individual layers #4 showing a partially torn feather structure with dust particles in between resized / sharpened only Happy Shooting! Amazing stuff, GB. I used to think the Oly SP5xx series were the best at the supermacro stuff. Not anymore. heheheh.

It's interesting to see what kind of add-ons people are trying with this camera, and the amazing results out of it.
