Found this on DP Review - might be of interest (especially in the light of SOME of the concerns expressed about the S9000 recently by new owners).

If you look at the threads list here in theFujifilm Forum you'll see an announcement ("sticky") post was just made (it's at the very top) with quotes from the new Fuji Service Advisory (which impacts some Finepix A300, A303and F700 cameras).

Thanks for the heads up!

Do you have a link to the DPreview?

What review? Dpreview is another Digital Camera web site.

The Original Poster wasn't referring to a review, he was referring to this Fuji Service Adivory (which we also got, which is why I posted a new thread about it here, versus sending members elsewhere to read about it).

P.S.

It's also on our Breaking News Page

Ok, no probs. So as yet it is not established if the same thing is happening to S9X00 cameras but it is a possiblity?

Fuji has made no similar announcement regarding other models at this time, except for one impacting some Fuji S2 Pro owners (but, that doesn't mean they won't in the future, if a similar problem is found to exist with other camera models).
