HS10 update....
 
Hi all,
please help.....whats going on here.....:mad:
Ok, i now have my HS10....very nice....
I am trying to update the firmwear...
When i down load the file, it says its a .dat file is that right please ???
When i put this file on the memory card my HS10 wont update....
Helpppppppppppppp.

Andy, did you read the step-by-step instructions (with pictures) on the website you downloaded the .dat file from?

Yes i did, but it just cant find the firmware for some reason....

Did you also download the firmware updater from http://www.fujifilm.com/support/digi...eras/software/
?

Then, go to http://www.fujifilm.com/support/digi...hs10/fupd.html and follow the instructions TO THE LETTER. DO NOT SKIP/BLOW BY ANYTHING.

format the sd card in the camera first

then turn off camera and eject card

then put in pc and load your file

then unmount the card first...DO NOT JUST PULL IT OUT

see if it finds it after/.
