" I took this picture with my HS20 on October 2nd (06-15 am) from NW London.
There was a bright light in the sky which I thought to be the space station , when it turned out to be Jupiter I thought "cool" even better .. The 4 small white dots are not visible to the naked eye,and I was surprised to see them when I viewed the pic full size. Once again this camera (30x zoom) amazed me ... |

If you put a TCON-17 on that bad boy, and it takes it out to 1224mm! You'd better have a tripod, though.

I've never used any type of lens adapter, but I imagine there would be quite a loss of image quality.(not that my pic has a lot of detail). |

Here are a few examples. I actually had to bring in the zoom on some of these as the subject was too close for good composition. And, these were captured through double-pane windows. ![]()

Yeah Gary, I see what your saying, the IQ is really good.
Something to think about. I particularly like the blue jay one with the peanut, I thought it was only the greedy jay in my garden that swallows peanuts shell an' all .. |

gtoth - nice bird shots. Were those taken with the HS20? They are nice and clear considering it's a teleconverter going through double pane glass. Very nice. This is my first post by the way. I am eagerly awaiting arrival of an HS20 today or tomorrow. Tony |
