hi

i used to own a a310 and s3000, i had to sell and got a kodak.

i need to know how the s5500 (s5100) stands up in low light as my last two fujis could never lock onto something in low light ( AF ) causingout of focus shots.

any help will be greatfull

Personally, I haven't had any problem with low light photography. The 5100 has a low-light assist feature that is effective to about 2 m (I think). The camera emits a green light when the low-light assist mode kicks in.
