Default Night Christmas Lites

I would like some suggestions for optimal HS20 settings for shooting a small village w/lots & lots of Christmas lights. I would like to use EXR and not mees around in the cold with a tripod.

Keep the ISO low (lock it on 100 or 200) and let the camera choose the proper shutter speed for you. if their is enough light ISO 100 and 200 will do it for you and lower ISO will give you more detail....... I'd shoot in shutter P mode. Also do not use the flash. Also if their are trees involved watch were stand and aim the camera as tree branches in the foreground (from trees that are up against the road before you get to the light display it self) can through the main image - the lights out of focus a little.

also I've had very good luck if I take 2 pictures of everything at least 1 is tack sharp......

Hope this helps.
