Hi Folks!
I´m looking for a new camera, as an upgrade for my "tired" Canon A70. One of thefeaturesof my A70 is the capability of previewing if the photo is going to betoo dark, for instance. I mean, the lcd previously shows how the photo will gonna be(pressing half button). Sorry if my question is kind of stupid, but theFuji S5100 has that feature? Do you think that is a good upgrade, in my case? thanks....Ghiggi P.S: sorry my english. |

When you press the button half down on the 5100, it will focus on the subject and will lock the meter setting. I suppose if you look closely at the LCD display you would be able to preview the results. However, my experience has been that what you see on the LCD is quite different from what you see when you load an image into Photoshop or some other editing software. Also, there would be no way to preview the results of taking a flash picture. I suppose that is why the image delete button is so useful at times.

A friend just bought the Pentax SLR, and it has that feature, but I'm guessing that you aren't looking in that price range.
