S7000 - Canada

Called Camera Canada today. Their Fuji Rep tells them there are problems and they won't be coming out until "the new year".

Completely sucks. I am looking at something now as I already sold my S602z in anticipation. I am going to see if I can get a coolpix 5700 for a decent price and I am looking hard at the HP 945 as well.

Ideas/comments about the last two cameras` mentioned?

Not really, besides the fact that the HO945 seems terribly slow

.. but I'd have a look at the Panasonic DMC-FZ10 for a change... 4MP, 12x optical zoom with image stabilisation!

Order it from the US, if it is available there. You will not pay duty on a digital camera, just GST and PST at the border. Our dollar is strong as well, that will help you save on the exchange.
Buddy of mine ordered a D100 from the states and saved over $600!
