Hi,

Today i collected my S7000 after a 2 monthfault finding expedition at Fuju UK.

suprise surpriseFuji coulnt findanything wrong with it

Thecamera developed a noise problem 3 months after i purchased it.It makes an excessive amount of what i think could beiris movement noise???? apart from being very anoyingthe
noise is picked up by the built in mic in video mode.As i said the
camera was completeley silent for the first 3 months.
Anyways its going back to Fuji again hopefully it wont be 2 months this time

My S7000 makes some noises, but not enough to alarm me, I have heard the racket that some other cameras make (the nasty ratcheting sound of an HP 945 lens extending, the small animal murmer made by a Pentax 33L while zooming etc). These cameras could be quieter no doubt, and yours may be exceptionally loud but unless it interferes with your ability to take pictures I wouldn't worry about it.

It is right tocontact Fuji again. The S7000 is a great camera, hopefully yours is not flawed, this is a camera which proves itself with the quality of its prints.
