Kind folks,
My dad gave us his S9000 when my wife got pregnant; our girl's about to turn 1 year old and I'm still trying to figure out a couple things on the camera. I've been scouring the PDF of the manual, but I can't seem to find answers to two tech questions. -- Is there any way to shift the AF focus point, besides using AF lock and then moving off center? Many cameras let you set a focus point to, say, one of the sides, so you can be shooting your subject off-center quickly and easily. -- Is there any way to set a white balance in video mode? Seems like the options are limited to 320x or 640x, and that's about it. Thanks, and sorry! Mike |

I'm afraid that the answer to both of your questions is, "No." Better throw the camera away and get something else.:-)
