"Shutter" sounds on s602?
Could anyone out there who owns a Furjifilm S602 Zoom please describe the sounds that camera makes to indicate various things, in particular "shutter release" or yes-it-really-took-a-picture confirmation sound?

I've never owned an expensive slr, but it sort of sounds like what I'd expect, it doesn't come with an alternative array of ring tones like mobile fones, but you can turn the sound off if you like. You don't need the sound because you can see the pic frozen in the EVF in preview mode, or watch the green/amber led, or spot the frame counter has incremented or see the flash fire - plenty of visual clues.

PS the 602 takes GREAT pics - sound on or off!

Thanks. I do like the fake "shutter, film wind" sound. I find it especially useful when I ask strangers to take a photo of me. I don't have to give them a tutorial in how to use the camera. If it sounds "right" it worked.

I even worry about giving my 602 to my wife, when the first time she held it by the zoom lens!
