I have a fairly meaty flash gun left over from my Nikon F70 35mm days.....
It is a 'Centon' F-H-9-5 (Probably a brand-name not used outside the UK?) and it is designed to be used with Nikon AF cameras and has TTL cabability. I am always a bit incredulous when manuals say ONLY use our own-brand flash etc. but I know there are some pretty hefty voltages involved so am asking advise here. I have already discovered that the 'Sigma' NAF autofocus lenses I used on my old Nikon don't work on my new Fuji........probably the wrong sort of chip!!...... (edit) Oh no...I just forgot to set/lock the minimum aperture-but what a NOISE. Did I really used to try and creep up on wildlife with these whiring clanking monstrosities.......it's back into the cupboard for unloved lenses for these puppies I'm afraid!! Thanks flo |
