Default which is best flash to use with S2 Pro?

s the Nikon SB80DX the best flash for the Fuji S1 Pro? or does that large of a flash put too much stress on the top mount of the camera?

are all the advanced flash features realized when used on this camera?

do you recommend another Nikon Flash?

what about the SB28DX?

I assume you are talking about the S2 (you had S2 in the subject, and S1 in the body of your post).

I use the Sunpack 4000AF and 120J TTL flashes without any problems. Everything works as advertized.

The Nikon SB-28 is fine, both for TTL and auto. No, the Fuji S-2 doesn't need the digital features the Nikon's need in the flash. That's why other mfg's flash units work!

These days i'm using SB-28 speedlight with my S2 pro and every thing goes ok.

So my opinion is that S2 pro don't need a dx flash,

I used also on ttl mode and auto mode my s2 pro with sb -24 and sb-26 and the camera goes ok with both flashes .

but for me the best flash that i use for the moment is sb-28, low battery comsum, more shots without need of waiting for recharge, perfect measurement of the dep field.
