Default Shooting software for the PC

1. Can someone tell me why the shooting software is free for the Mac, yet costs 130 for the PC?

2. Is it actually worth the money? As I have no way of seeing it in action I have to rely on others. I use my S2Pro mostly for photographing jewellery.

Thanks a lot!

hi redslug.

it depends on how many times you use the software. i use it 99% of the time, my clients want to see the images as i shoot them, so it is well worth the money.
as jewellery can be difficult to shoot sometimes i would well recommend purchasing it as any preview is better then the useless lcd screen.
hope this helps

RedSlug, Have you had it yet? If not, please mail to : [email protected]. I have both for Mac and for Win, do you want to share it? Now I use S3, I don't use S2 more.
