Default Problems shooting at 1600 speed with available indoor light

I recently tried to take a few portraits of my niece indoors with my S2 at ISO 1600. The results show very fine blue horizontal lines running through the entire frame. Fortunately I was just taking these photos as a test, playing around trying to learn more about my S2's functionality. Has anyone else experienced a similar problem, and if so, what did you do to fix it?

I have not seen it on my 1600 ISO photos. Do you also see the lines at ISO 100 or 200?

No. I have been shooting for 2 months at 100, 160, 200, or 400. No blue lines. Just blue lines with this 1600 trial shoot I did.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm!

Not sure what to tell you. Try some more 1600 ISO shots and see if it shows up on all images. It may have been caused by conditions at the time of your last test shots.

If it persists, you might want to contact Fuji tech support and see what they say. In the meantime, be thankful it does not show up at lower ISO settings.

I've heard of that happening at extream low light the then trying to bring up image brightness. Some think it may be some sort of electronic noise interference condition.! Wierd things can happen.

Try taking a 1600 iso pic outside at night or late evening away from powerlines, etc.

I haven't noticed it with my S2.
