At present,I don't think there's anything better for low light work...period!!
Lovely F/2 lens and spectacular high iso noise control- the ultimate indoor snapper... amongst other things...!
If Fuji make an interchangeable lens camera with this processor/sensor combo- Canon,Nikon,Olympus etc will be in serious trouble...!!

Not really !
This camera (respective the sensor) is not made for interchangeable lenses because the sensor is too big. And the middle and long range lenses have to be quite big !
And I think Canon, Nikon and other DSLR producers could sleep well for now !
I think that the Fuji makers are searching for their own market niche

Bugsbunny- the sensor in the X100 is an APS-C sized sensor- the same size as the Sony NEX (interchangeable lens) line of cameras- and the same size as Samsung's NX11 compact system....
Also,Fujifilm will be releasing an interchangeable lens,compact,mirrorless system in the spring of 2012....
Could be a winner....
