Have had the S6500fd-S6000fd for a week, payed $599 Australian.I used it at my Daughters Graduation Ceremony which was in a Large Theatre,Flash was not allowed neither where Tripods,I was seated way up in the Balcony so had to use full Zoom.I'm no expert Photographer so i set it on Auto steaded my breathing and clicked away and got a couple that were pretty good considering the conditions,I haven't Manipulated the photos yet but a bit of sharpening may help. The outdoor shots where great. The only problem is the flimsy memory door, the battery life seems very good, prob because of the manual zoom, which i like.
