i was on the UK site by the way

i believe that the "pro" version was only for european market

i emailed fuji and they said that the s602z pro was only for overseas and is not imported to the U.S.. they gave me the webpage for the UK site to see if i could retrofit the cable release shutterbutton.

i've been thinking about this myself

i'm in the UK

so i'm going to try emailing fuji and finding out a price for the button and seeing if it will fit

i'll post my findings!

That would be really interesting - my gut feeling has been that it's more than a simple mechanical retrofit. If the software doesn't know how to deal with it, would it work?

Have already tried getting Fujifilm to change the shutter release button but they said it is not possible. Just found out a simpler cable release solution at www.dragonminds.com
