You might want to research a little bit. We initally were going to go with digital liquidators for our S602. They had a price of $475, but it would have taken 6 weeks to get the camera and we wanted it before we left for vacation. For the life of me I can't remember where on the internet we bought it, but we only paid $500. I know readers run from about $40 to $100. I got our leather camera case on e-bay for about $25. We paid $35 for our memory (which is 1 GB). I hope this helps.

p.s. My husband just pointed out that we had told some friends about the deal we got on the camera, and when they when to purchase it three days later, the price had gone up to $550. FYI

Good Luck

It's scary to me that the image they post for the Manufacturer link at the botto of the ad is Canon. I've also never heard of an all black Pro model - anyone else? I got mine a few months back from Digital Etailer over the phone for $514, but they're price has gone up. They were quick and I didn't have any problems.

602's are slightly iffy with compact flash

i just emailed fuji and they told me that there is no cable release set up for any s602z. i had asked if i could replace my shutterbutton for the pro style cable release version and they said there was none.

Fuji's website does not mention a pro model at all (I couldn't find it). In fact, in the Professional line of digital cameras, all they mention is the S1 and S2. In the consumer lineup, all there is is the S602Z and there I didn't see any mention of a professional version. My 602 is all black and as far as I know is not a gray market. I'm guessing that the pictures with the silver rear panel are an early protoype model. I'm starting to think that some retailers sell accessories for the 602 and sell the package as a "professional" one but word it so it sounds like the camera is a pro version - or they come right out and say it.

djb - when you emailed Fuji did you ask specifically about the pro version?

Thanks for that link. I wonder why the Fujifilm site (which I was understanding to be the MAIN site in English) doesn't mention it?
