Hi everyone, I just got a s6000, and I noticed that when the I have it set for center focus there is an internal noise in the camera. Sounds like it is adjust or something. I just wanted to know if this is normal.

TIA

proeddie,

If you mean CAF, that's continuous auto focus and the lens will make a noise because it's continually trying to focus wherever you point the camera.

Change the focus setting to SAF and see if the noise doesn't stop.

Yes, It goes away when I change it to spot or manual. Thanks, I was about to bring it back.
