Fujifilm FinePixS5000.

Flash start made twice or three time more light. Don't know why. Tried everything, reset settings and changed battery. Nothing helps. Camera works fine without flash. But with flash in any mode I got almost white photos. Only in manual mode when I put 2000 / F8 I got photo close to regular.

Any suggestion?

Thanks.

Raise the flash up, below the flash tube you seeasmall lens on the left corner, it's dirty, it blinds thatflash sensor, therefore itforces the flash to give max output. Clean it witha Qtip/alcohol or just tap water.

Sorry to know it didn't work. I think it's time to retire thecamera and look for a better one, they are much cheaper than when you bought the S5000 years ago, with higher MP, better high ISO. I can see that you can set the camera manually, with a new camera you enjoy more with new features give you more control than the S5000, shop around you may finda good deal.
