Default 2 Cameras same SM card ????? Fuji F401 / S 602 Z

:?: I have had a Fuji F401 for a while, and now I just bought a Fuji S 602Z..... Is it OK or dangerous to use the same card in both cameras ? Will I have any technical problems ????

I do not know of why it would not work. I have used CF cards from other devices in my s602 with no problems.

Default Re: Sharing SM cards

It's perfectly safe to swap a SM card into another model of camera, or even another manufacturer's camera. If the cameras use a different file system (usually each manufacturer has their own) the worst that can happen is you will get a read error and be required to format the card in the camera before use.

I would guess that because both models are Fuji you could even keep the pictures on the card and keep shooting, however if one camera supports a higher resolution the other may not be able to display the higher-res ones in play mode because it was not designed to read them.
