Lauralei, was in total auto....as all these were. But I stood back and used a heavy zoom.

Thanks for the comments, I took all these in auto to see what I would need to change in manual modes. It really help being able to view the full exif info in ACDSee , especially the low light pics. This shows just how much noise and movement can occur when ISO is set auto to 1600. I think it might have been much better at 400 or so even if the speed would have taken longer.

Is it worth getting accesories for the S700? My birthday is coming up in about a month and a half, and I want to get some photography stuff. I'm pretty much deciding between3 options.

OPTION 1:

accesories for the S700 such as telephoto lens, wide angle lens, fisheye lens, filters, close up lens set, memory card, tripods, lens cleaning kit, flashes, macro ring light, digital photography books, etc.

*note:those are some things I would give as ideas, I wouldn't get them all. also, lenses would be opteka lenses.

OPTION 2:

Holga, 35mm converter kit for holga, 35mm film, lens filter set, lens mount, tunnel vision lens or fisheye lens, holga books, etc.

*again, just ideas, wouldn't get them all

OPTION 3:

A mix between options 2 and 3. a few basic accesories for the S700: memory card, filters, digital photography books. some holga stuff: Holga, 35mm converter, 35mm film, holga filter set, holga books. maybe one other small thing from either options 1 or 2.

What do you guys think would be the best decision?

Ive had my S700 since mid June. I use close up lenses a lot. I wish i had a polarizing filter. Im going to get the wide angle lens and telephoto lens by fuji which screws on the front. There isnt much else to buy that I would want. Im using all my filters from my old 35mm so that saved me a few bucks.

I don't know about holga much, so, id say #1. hahaha. But that's just me.
I'd LOVE to have a macro ring light, but does that even work with the S700?, also, what the HECK is a fisheye lens?
