:? Got yet another question. How much do I have to spend on filters to get decent quality. I know that lenses quality makes a world of difference but how about filters?

Because a linear polarizing lens doesnt work and a circular one does. I am using all my filters step up rings, lens hood all from my 35mm camera. The linear polarizing lens doesnt work. Ive yet to buy a polarizing filter because its pretty expensive.

I've basically given up on a tele lens for now but I really would like a polorizer and probably a UV for protection

Shot this one with the zoom today of a gull warming itself in the sunshine while the thermometer hovers around 30 degrees :O

Yeah, anyone able to refer to some good lenses that would fit this s700 would save more than a few of us, lots of fruitless searching.

I've been looking and, can't find anything other than that bad amazon package with not very functional opteka lenses.

Please any information
