Nice one!! I love the look in his beady little eye. I'm hoping I'll get to visit my mom's place this weekend. She's got all sorts of birds and squirrels and critters at the feeders in her back yard.

Using smoked glass and mirrors there is really only 1 incense cone on fire.

VERY cool shot. Neat effect too. I've seen stuff like that created in Photoshop, but never directly from a camera that I can think of.

We had some spring-type weather today, so the most I got to take pictures of was my daughter on her bike for the first time this year. Took her to play with some friends, so I'm hoping tomorrow to go find something fun to shoot.

Missed.....

Darn

It looked like I was going to get a great sunset, as I waited to watch it unfold. I took a shot tofine tunemy exposure....

OK....

Went to get another and the darn battery depleted icon came on :O

One thing I find troubling with this camera as it gives you no real warning :?

Oh well....I only had my camera in hand and no replacements, so I only got this one shot....but I think you can see how it was setting up to be a nice sunset...

Here are what those clouds looked like from my yard, a little bit earlier, making me think I'd get a nice sunset, which made me want to mosey down to the beach on the other side of the trees so I could get an unobstructed view....

T'heck with waiting ... you still caught a beautiful sunset shot there. VERY nice.

I finally killed off the alkalines that came from the factory. Just over 330 shots PLUS a handful of full quality video. I'm sure it helps that I don't use the flash much. I didn't have your problem with the battery warning though. I got the "low battery" icon for 15 or 20 shots before it flashed the big warning and shut down. Luckily I had my rechargables in my pocket, ready to go. I figured past the 240 mark it wouldn't be too long. Of course, I didn't plan on going out and shooting 180 pics today either!!

Man, if this were the film era, I'd be broke shooting like that. LOL I'll try to post a few later on.

As for batteries Wal-Mart has Maxell AAs -- 40 for $10. Even cheaper at times. Thats a hellova lot of shooting for the money.
