Haven't been snapping as many shots this month as last, but still managed to pop off a few recently! Here are a couple of my favourites from this week/weekend.

I like this little furball. He's quite entertaining when he's moving dirt and debris from his tunnels. It's hilarious to see him throw a mouth full of twigs and dirt.

I was surprised how well the moose actually turned out. It was just before dusk, and I spotted him on the side of the road while we were out for a drive. This is about a mile from our house.

I have some other shots here - http://www.emmalynsdad.com/gallery/may_19_08/

I guess living in the boonies has its advantages at times. How about a couple of shots of the Dryden Air Force......Mosquitoes in action.

Sping has been too cold this year ... they're not out yet!

Makes fishing real nice right now with no 'squiters.

Hi people. Been away for a while. I have a question. Anyone have any experience with an underwater case for the S700? Going to the Western Caribbean in Sept and want to get some good underwater shots while snorkeling.

I wonder how a heavy duty Ziplok bag would work. Give it a try and if you dont kill your camera I might try it too.

I think the trick to that one would be sucking the air out of the bag so it a) doesn't float away and b) the pressure from air trying to work it's way out doesn't burst the seal as you go deeper underwater and pressure increases.

Honestly, I haven't looked at an underwater case for the 700 ... but now I'm curious to see what you come up with.

Still around, just been busy with life. Timbit soccer season and all that! Plus fishing season. Hopefully I can get out next weekend and do some of that before all the golfing begins. :P

Eddie - gorgeous colours in that shot. WOW.

Shankar - fabulous batch of photos. The night shots with the coloured lights are great.

Thanks... I did not have a tripod hence some shake..

I just wanted to point to the top view shot of people walking. That was taken from nearly 1000 feet away through the glass floor of the CN tower. Had no problem focusing.. Landscape mode. No flash used..
