OK Bynx...it won't die cuz of me :?

Some soft water shots using the S700. I'm pretty happy with my first attempt at this, using this camera. It was able to do a pretty good job in very dim light, no tripod.

And of course it does sunsets too....:-)

And boats (this sail boat is 40 foot long)

Some nice shots there Eddie. The waterfall with people in it is a new one for me and I like the slow shutter speed and sharp image. Well done. The sailboat with the reflection would have been a good shot for the last BiWeekly Challenge.

I still pop by and watch the thread ... but haven't had much to post lately. After a couple of months with a Canon Rebel XT, I've been feeling stifled going back to the S700. Y'know those shots you'd just LOVE to take at f32, ISO64 for 13 seconds or so? Just can't do it with the Fuji. Not that it isn't still a great camera ... but after taking a walk in dSLR shoes, it's just not the same. And I miss RAW already.

Now I just gotta save up for the dSLR and a lens or two. A plan that was just set back by the car breaking down coming home from vacation and a couple of nights in a hotel I couldn't afford. *sigh* It's always something, eh?

I sure hear ya Digtal....my last camera was a 35mm. Taking a shot at F32 at ASA 64 for 13 seconds is an almost forgotten memory that Id love to do again some day.
Ah, while Im here I may as well post a pic I just finished. Its HDR.

Rail bridge? Nice shot.

And while I'd love get wrap my hands around a dSLR again tomorrow ... I'll settle for digital anything over 35mm. I DO NOT miss having film developed ... then finding out I just spent 20 bucks on pics that didn't turn out. Even if you could develop your own (which I had done before), the chemicals were pricey.
