I was just outside and tried to take some pictures of things in complete darkness.... but.... its never bright enough.... I can put the exposure on +++, and everything, but... the longest shutter time is only FOUR SECONDS!!, which is really stupid in my opinion... So, I was wondering, do you think this is something that can be fixed with a firmware update?

4 seconds is all you get. No update so far that will cure that problem. Id like to see a hotshoe and the exposure time to have a B setting.

On 35mm cameras the shutter has a screw top which you could screw in a release cable. On B setting when you push the plunger on the cable there was a screw which when screwed in would hold the cable so the shutter was open. It stayed open as long as the screw was in. This was great for really long exposures like minutes or hours. There is a really nice effect with a very small aperture like f64 or f128 in which long exposures in crowded places produces empty rooms because the people never get captured.
