Default Fujifilm 602S - FLASH PROBLEMS

Hi all!
I've just registered... so I hope u don't mind if I looked up 4 help in wrong forum.
I have a digital camera, FujiFilm 602s. And it worked just fine until saturday, when it's flash (internal, pop up) suddenly stopped working.

What can be wrong?
I've checked for batteries (I changed them). Anything else? I also checked the sensor and it looks clean.

Can any1 help me, before I get to my dealer? And yes, it's urgent, I need that camera yesterday

Thank u in advance!
Bye, Dr_EAmer

Perhaps you've got the default menu set for External hot shoe flash?

Nope. I've checked that too.

Any other ideas?

Tip of last resort: Hit reset to factory defaults. After that if it doesn't work I'd guess something's wrong hardware wise - a device or a ribbon cable problem (does the external hot shoe trigger work?). Or have you got a mixed flash mode set and there's enough available light not to need flash? VOX

Here I am again.
Tenx 4 all the answers. I've checked everything and... NO LUCK. But then again, once last week I just took my camera in my hands, opened flash and there it was, working fine again...

...but tough luck, it went "dead" again (and right on time when I really need it ).

There must be a hardware failure. I'll visit my dealer and then we'll see.

Tenx again.
