I'll be at a Mixed Martial Arts tournament this weekend and would like to try and use more than the auto setting on my camera. I honestly don't know where to begin. I have no real interest in the sport I'm just going to support someone and it would be great to have some decent photos. Can anyone offer pointers for taking photos indoors of two guys beating the snot out of each other?

Well if you don't want to do auto (which I wouldn't because of the fast pace action)try the anti blur mode which will increase the shutter speed and ISO to get you better than auto pictures when the action gets moving/fast.

Thanks P5. Any thoughts on the manual settings? I should probably try to get to grips with those at some point.
