Default FinePix S5000 problem

Just recieved a S5000 and tried up - it was underexposed, but it was a fool-AUTO mode, I'm not offended.

Strange thing happend 6 hours later - I've got a vertical magenta trace. I did RESET, I've changed all settings, I could find - it keeps persisting on the same place.

Can it be humidity (95% today) or things are going too bad?

Or, better, like this

for the full-size.
Sorry for lame, this my first-time posting to Internet albums.
I didn't know, that Yahoo so greedy, to not allow full-size images for free and so lame to allow access to the same gallery as a briefcase :P

I don't know what the cause is of the magenta line, but it doesn't look at all like a healthy problem. Have you taken more pictures, is the problem gone with less humidity? If the problem stays you better call Fuji helpdesk to ask them for advice (bet you, they don't like such feature either in their newest prosumer cams).

Default Upped a couple of fotos

Upped a couple of fotos. I've disappointed a bit - I haven't found handshake suppression (that would be logic for 10x or low-light) and noise reduction. I thought that S-line cams will have it.
Now I'm thinking forward to S7000.
