I need to purchase a real easy pont and shoot camera. I like the 3800 and the 5000 beacause of the size and stability vs a smaller camera. The problem, Which

i don't have any experience with either camera but, have the s602z. but, if i had the choice i would probably go for the 5000. it has a 10x zoom and 4 or 5 iso choices. i think the 3800 is only a 6x zoom and only 1 iso choice. i think the 5000 also has a bunch of other features the 3800 doesn't have but, not sure what.

The 3800 is a 100 ASA cam. For real estate work and indoor shots, where sensitivity and lower flash power for range count, I'd look at ASA up to 400 for my cam - so I'd think that's the 5000. VOX
