Default Closup lens for s5000

Has anyone tried out close up lenses (like filter - single) with s5000.
im planning on getting a set, but before i burn around $30 on it i would like to know what would be the effect on the image quality. if anyone has tried it out please let me know.

It has been 4-5days since i got my s5000, tried out around 150 snaps. im happy with what ive got.

thanx all

Contact www.2filters.com for an adapter tube and filters. They have never led me astray.

I'm using Cokin +2 and +4 close-up lenses. They are high-quality optics and work great!
