Default S602 photos

The S602 is old technology by today's standard. But there are still many S602 users all over the world until this day.

For nostalgic reasons, some former/present owners like to refer to their favorite images taken with this camera.

I have chanced upon a Chinese photo forum which has a thread for S602 users to share their favorite images.

One really does not need to understand the language of the thread. Just browse through it and watch the images. The thread consists of 16 pages, each page with 15 messages. Most of messages are posted with S602 images.

Enjoy!

Here are my test shots after I got a second-hand S602 last month.
I am impressed by the details that the lens and sensor could capture and retain.

I am still experimenting with my recently acquired S602.
Here are some photos taken in the McRitchie Reservoir National Park.
They are 6MP with slight sharpening in PP

Here are some photos taken in my visit to the Singapore Flyer which at the moment is the world's largest observation wheel. Standing at a stunning 165m from the ground. The photos taken inside the capsule were through the tainted glass window. Hence there is some color cast in them.

The tall building under construction on the left is the Sands Resort including a casino.
There are 3 tall buildings in the Resort. The other 2 were hidden behind the one in this picture.

The two silver domes are the Esplanade Concert Hall and Theatre.

The bend of the Kallang River with the East Coast Express Way crossing it.

Hi Nomad147,

I am glad that you like the images of the Flyer.

Here are 3 images with the color cast (due to the tainted window) removed using the Smart Photo Fix option of Paint Shop Pro XII:

Thanks for looking at the images. Hope you enjoy seeing them!

Daniel
