Default F70EXR today's test shots part1

photo 1-lights
focal 34.2mm, 1/480s, f5.5, ISO 400 (I think this was in EXR auto mode)

Any feedback would be appreciated. Also if this isn't the right forum for this please tell me...I want to do things correctly.

It appears that these two photos were taken using different modes.

how can you tell what mode a picture was shot in?

By the resulting exposure to my eyes. Of course I could be wrong.
