Hi Mary-

The second and third shot have much better focus. Overall the look good. Enjoy your new camera.

mary,

That shot of tessa is incredible for ISO 800. The sharpness and colors could not be better.

yes, i am pretty impressed by the iso 800 as well. i would expect to be able to see some noise even on a resized photo but i am not seeing much at all. and the detail retention is quite great. i would not have guessed this to be iso800 if i had not snooped the exif too.

looks like a great buy and a nice compliment to you f70

thanks for your comments and input. i'm really enjoying playing with this one. unfortunately i'm back at work today, but on my break will be experimenting!
and yes with this one and the 70exr i think my needs are covered (for now)! it's sort of like an addiction isn't it?

Ya it is! My work hands me tons of stress and photography really relaxes me. Amateur photography does something for me like no other, it's relaxing, respected past time.

I take small trips around my city or beach or park and just shoot away with one hand with a camera and drinking something with another (NO SUGAR PLEASE!). The shots you saw on my profile are just that....random shots. I posted some settings and those did those shots. It's interesting but not great. there are some in my profile which i used automatic as well. I think the one with the micro-tree is p setting and the one with the cat is automatic.

I wanted a little extra and i got a s200exr. I gave my s2000hd to my uncle after my 2 year old family member had it's way with it. I actually miss this camera now. The thing is this camera is light, fits in hand nicely, has lots of features. Now I am having a blast with the s200exr. The only thing I'm missing is those interesting shots. It looks more like dslr than anything. I didn't go for a dslr because its just too much for me. I almost purchased a olympus e420 just because its small but i like fuji even though customer support sucks for some people.
