 GReat pics !!!

I actually couldn't decide on which digital camera i should get.... too many options and quite comfortable with my SLR. Initially thought of getting the S5000 (due to cost and features) but shy off after someone told me the Xd cards cost double of CF. And too much negative comments on some forum saying the camera doesn't perform well in low light conditions and pic quality is bad.

After looking at your pics... i think i better go Sg Wang to check out the pricing on the S7000

Default Moon pics

First off great shots. Just got the S7000 and tried to take pics of the moon and ended up with a blury ball of light. How did you get the results in moon_04.jpg? Very clear compared to the rest.
Thanks for any advise.

#1 use spot metering...

if u are shooting the moon in a clear sky, you'd be suprise how bright it really was try using the smallest aperture then adjust as much to underexpose it a little to squeeze more details.
