Default Price Fuji HS 10

Hi,
Here in the Netherlands they will ask euro 699,- for this camera.
In the UK it will be about pound 380,-
In the US it will be about dollar 500,-
The euro pricing should therefore be about euro 430. That is quite a difference.

Regards,
Guus

Show me a link to a video camera that does 1080p HD video and has an extra wide angle zoom lens. You have your head stuck in the sand, take it out or take it to the I hate video forum.

I was also thinking of a 58-77mm step up ring and 77mm Flower/Petal Lens Hood.

I think a rubber hood is better solution - for wide angle fast to "remove/reject" and fits better into bag than a big tulip.

Now, let's try :-))))

That helps explains why, of all the new Fuji models (covered February 5 on this Web site) he's most bullish on the new HS10, a bridge "SLR-style" design with a whopping 30:1 zoom (from 24mm through 720mm, 35mm eq.), along with two other Fujifilm DIMA award winners, the Superzoom F80EXR (10:1) and the touchscreen Z700EXR.
I managed to snag crisp shots of distant faces using a pre-production HS10 sample zoomed all the way out to 720mm, from a vantage point at Fujifilm's exhibit inside the convention centre. This is a ridiculous feat for a handheld camera indoors.
"It's the best stabilization I've ever seen," says Poole, "and much improved over its predecessor." The HS10 uses a combination of high ISO, mechanical and optical stabilization.
Much improved: mere words to the reader, conveying little in a world accustomed to hype. Seeing a tack-sharp image from an extreme telephoto; now that's a different story.
But that's something you have to experience to fully appreciate.

I seen one like that in a Cracker Jack box. BTW you can't zoom with that toy.
I use many lenses with my Pentax K-7 from 6.5mm to 2350mm to shoot HD video.

I'll revise since you didn't apologize. We had this discussion a while ago. Sure cameras are capable of doing such video and none so far has reached 1080p 60fps but the point was the price range of at the time cameras around 2 grand compared to the 300 dollars hybrid. the talk was about the price range and quality. Your camera is very well capable at around 900 or cheaper but the talk was not of SLR or higher priced cameras, it was about our price range for the hs10.

The discussion was this price range. So...take the talk some where like the SLR section. We are aware of those cameras.

Those are very horrible examples of high definition videos...really. My hd1000 takes far superior videos than the k7 ....still far better .

Here is an old video of the hd1000. this was years ago.

Here is a clip from my friends expirience with the hd1000 or 1010.

http://vimeo.com/3890877

Remember these videos look extremely poor compared to the originals. The originals is like...unexplainable. Make sure you check out the ones where he videos himself hangliding with a mounted hd1010
